Create SLCC

SLCC creation is a multi-step process:

  • Enter SLCC attributes
  • Bind controller
  • Bind meter
  • Add components
  • Bind components to controller’s ports

Enter SLCC Attributes

  1. Go to the list of SLCC.
  2. Click button Add New.
  3. Enter at least all mandatory properties
  4. Click button Save. If save were successful, user forwards to the SLCC page.
  5. Go to the SLCC Settings Page
  6. Install Controller
  7. Install Meter
  8. Add Components and bind to controller ports

What’s going on in the database?

  • A row is created in the table cabinets.
  • If components were added, rows in the cabinet_components are created too.

Possible Issues

UID belongs by another cabinet.

The reasons:

  • A cabinet with the UID exists but hidden.

Controller can not not be found

The reasons:

  • Only free controllers are availble to be bound to the cabinet. Find the controller in the inventory. Probably it’s bound to another cabinet already.

Meter can not not be found

The reasons:

  • Only free meters are availble to be bound to the cabinet. Find the meter in the inventory. Probably it’s bound to another cabinet already.
