Binding Head to Luminarie

Binding heads to the mounting is a multi-step process:

Binding Steps

  1. Open mounting page.
  2. In the section with isntalled luminaires, choose tab with title “No linked MAC”.
  3. Click button Actions related to selected luminaire.
  4. Choose menu item Install Head. The modal window will appear.
  5. Change radius if required.
  6. The system will show all heads around mounting inside specified radius.

Legend:

  • # - if MAC is already bound to the current luminaire
  • * - if MAC is already bound to another luminaire
  • MAC without symbols - MAC which is not bound to the luminaires, could be selected to be bound.

What’s going on in the database?

A fieldluminaires.head_id gets a value together with field luminaires.head_assigned_at.

Possible Issues

There is no any MAC addresses in the specified radius

The reasons:

  • Head is not installed at all, or is not installed correctly
  • Head is not working.
  • The geo location of the mounting is wrong.
